This day is getting weirder by the second..

I don't know how I feel about this. But, I wish him the best. Hopefully he will prove that he is a good buy signing. (He was out of contract which means he was signed for free)

Reds capture Owen

Manchester United is delighted to announce that it has signed Michael Owen on a two-year contract. The striker was out of contract, so no transfer fee is involved.

Sir Alex Ferguson said: "Michael is a world class forward with a proven goalscoring record at the highest level and that has never been in question. Coming to Manchester United with the expectations that we have is something that Michael will relish.”

Michael Owen said: "I had just begun to talk to other clubs when out of the blue Sir Alex phoned me on Wednesday afternoon, invited me to have breakfast with him the next morning during which he told me that he wanted to sign me. I agreed without a moment's thought.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for me and I intend to seize it with both hands.

"I am now looking forward to being a Manchester United player and I am fortunate that I already know so many of the players here. I missed pre-season last year and am pleased that I will be starting at Carrington from day one.

"I want to thank Sir Alex for the faith he has shown in me and I give him my assurance that I will repay him with my goals and performances”

The news just in. Cristiano Ronaldo is set to leave Manchester United.

To be honest, to say that I shocked or surprised would be a lie. I've been anticipating this news since, well, last season. What I'm shocked about is the price that Real Madrid is willing to pay for him. £80million is not a small change. It's a lot of money.

I haven't been Ronaldo's biggest fan since he openly said he wants to move to Real in the beginning of the 2007/2008 compaign. And to be perfectly honest, I hated the fact that even though Man Utd won the double that season, the only thing people and the media focused on was Ronaldo's future. He has a tromendous season in 2007/2008 but I could never support him with as much passion as I used to. To me, and to most of the Man Utd supporters, anyone who is not totally commited to the Red cause can leave.

I believe that Man Utd will move on. They have proven that they can be great even after losing key players. Now, its up to the manager to rebuild the team and make the team as good as or even better as the previous one. And also to the players to keep going forward and doing their best in every single match.

To Ronaldo, his services will be missed. He has been a terrific and wonderful player. Thank you for all he has done for the club.

Now, lets just look to the future and move on.

at a crossroad

I've been thinking of changing my blog link, well since I don't really post pictures anymore. But changing links would mean having to tell those who linked me to change my blog's URL, and that would be a bother to them (I understand the feeling..*ahemNADDDahem* jk jk) So, I'm deciding whether I should.

And, I'm trying to keep posts about my various fandoms to a minimal because people have been kinda complaining that there too much fangirling and less actual stuff. haha. But anyways, I'll try not to post those anymore now. I'll just fangirl over at LiveJournal, since I can actually do a cut and not bother people who do not want to read about my fangirling moments. XD

Actually, I can just tell them to STHU since it's my blog, don't like don't read, bb, but I won't do it. I'm considerate of their feelings. (:
